The Sound Behind Dystopian Worlds

At Dire Black Audio, I craft chilling audio experiences that breathe life into silence, forging emotions into haunting soundscapes for your projects.

A serene view of a fog-covered pine forest illuminated by soft daylight, capturing nature's tranquility.
A stunning view of a snow-capped mountain peak with dramatic cloudy skies.
Misty river landscape with fog and grassy banks creating a serene atmosphere.

My Mission

My Mission: Transforming Silence into Emotion

I will help you to turn silence into immersive, eerie soundscapes that enrich narrative-driven projects, ensuring that the audience feels your intention, even when sound goes unnoticed.

Experience since 2000

In the year 2000 I started my endeavour in the realms of audio and ever since refined my skillset and broadened my tools. I always had a strong pull towards dark soundscapes and music. I worked in many musical genres and broadened my expertise towards audio restauration and podcast editing, catering to a broader range of clients while maintaining my focus on cinematic sound design.

Established in 2024

In 2024, I founded Dire Black Audio, driven by a vision to create dark, immersive soundscapes and music for filmmakers and game developers seeking unique audio experiences. After several bands of Punk, Rock, Hardcore and Jazz and many years of corporate work for a global player in the fitness industrie, a job filled with many electronic genres, I finally came around to creating this entity that embodies a truely personal proclivity to the sound of distopia, damnation and despair.
I love life, I am a fun-loving goofball and I am optimisitic, but boy do I love to create a sinister sound.

Focus on Gaming and Cinematics

I am passionate for games, films and series, especially when they have a dark and dystopian setting or twist.
Series like Black Mirror, Severance, The Walking Dead and Stranger Things or movies like Mad Max, 28 Days Later, The Creator and Blade Runner or games like Cyberpunk, Pacific Drive and Fallout. All of these keep inspiring me and keep my creative mind fueled.
